Please explain your reasoning.
I strongly believe in having the right people with the right knowledge and capability for the task at hand. I put my own situation forward where my career has come from a trade background and slowly through experienced gained has led to an engineering role. As I have not completed a bachelor's degree the NRF leads me to think that I would be ineligible for registration. The risk I see is precluding people like myself bringing practical experience become registered practitioners.

Do you think the proposed NRF will improve compliance with the NCC?

Please explain your reasoning.
Adding further registration will without a doubt push each practitioner to further understand what is being designed and how it is code compliant. This is without a doubt a step in the right direction

Qualification requirements
As noted previously - I'm a strong believer in getting the right people to do the right work. My own situation really drives me to state something to this point - and I'm sure there are others in similar positions.

My career started as a tradesperson (electrotechnology instrumentation) working in the building automation field, then on to mechanical system commissioning and HVAC performance into a design engineer position.

As with many like myself I have not completed a bachelor's degree and therefore am seemingly ineligible for registration. While further education is of great importance to me I feel that undertaking an engineering degree at this point in my career would be very challenging from a workload perspective (keeping my current position).

I would like to see an alternate pathway be offered for the qualification requirements either through experience or through other more achievable further education.
