There is no requirement to increase the inspection regime. For instance there is no inspection before walls are sealed up so there is no way of knowing if insulation is fitted, or indeed wiring is safely shielded.
I would like to see adequate inspection points mandated to support the NatHERS certificate..

The ABCB is specifically interested in your comments on the registration levels for building surveyors. Do you agree with the criteria used to distinguish between with the two levels of registration for building surveyors and does it adequately accommodate the different levels of risk?
