About the consultation
This specification sets out the requirements for PVC-C pipes and fittings DN 8 to DN 100 for use in cold water fire sprinkler systems.
PVC-C pipes and fittings certified to this specification are intended for use in cold water fire sprinkler systems as per B1D5 in Volume Three of the National Construction Code 2022.
In resolving the previous public comments for draft WMTS-541, several technical changes were identified resulting in redrafting.
For this reason, the ABCB is consulting again on this specification.
